Communities in Control conference concluded yesterday. The highlight of the day, indeed the conference, was hearing from the incomparable Hugh Mackay on his thoughts re community and his fears for its gradual removal from our society. It was also inspiring to hear from Dan Mori, the lawyer who represented David Hicks.

I was happy with the networking I did throughout the 3 days.

There was of course plenty of dross too. The lowlight of this being an economist whom I swear had attended the wrong conference!

I have made it one of my goals for 2016 to speak at this conference. Watch this space!!
